Last weekend I was at my first christmas market stall in my medieval town, Provins.
I sold my handspun yarn and some knitted and crocheted hats, scarves, slippers, wreaths.
I also demonstrated the spinning and all the work on raw fleeces prior to it.
It was a big success for my non making-profit association.
I let you see ...
Many many people came and asked me many many questions about the spinning.
I'd tried to explain as I could ...
Many children were also very interested and sometimes very funny with their questions about the Sleeping Beauty ....
Many people wanted to know more about the work on raw fleeces.
That took place in an very old vault (13th century).
My weekend was wonderful.
I loved spending my time with all of the visitors.
Thanks to my husband for the pics ...
I hope you're all fine and
Thanks for stopping by ...
Please Take Care
and
See you soon
xx

RépondreSupprimerIt is great to see so much interest in an old craft by so many younger people.
RépondreSupprimerYour display looked very well prepared with lots of interesting things. Your information and pictures on the wall are a great idea - people can read while they wait to have their turn to talk to you. Congratulations on a successful market stall.
Have a Merry Christmas, Géraldine, and thank you for being a supportive blogfriend this year. xx
I would have loved to have sat next to you watching you turn fleece into beautiful yarn.

I wasn't much on the blogs prior to Christmas, but this post has now caught my eye. Congratulations with your first weaving demonstration! You look so relaxed and sounds like you really enjoyed yourself. Love the shot of you with all the woolly fluff decorating your white skirt ;)
