I'm also happy when ...

For a week, it's been raining again and again.
BUT !
I'm still happy because,
the garden is greener and my roses are growing well.

I'm also happy when my husband picks some lily of the valley from the garden and brings a bouquet into the house ...

I love the sweet perfume of this flower.

I'm also happy when with some corriedale wool,
Remember this wool ready to be spun
and with some stash of icelandic wool,
et avec des restes de laine islandaise,

I'm spinning many skeins of 2-plys yarns.

My homemade lazy kate

I'm also happy when despite the rain, I can work on my Alpaga Suri fleeces under my new lean-to garage.

Some drying Alpaga Suri fibers.

I'm also happy when I'm carding some Alpaga fibers with my great drum carder.

I'm also happy when from my workspace window, I can watch some birds feeding in the very green grass.

I'm also happy when I'm invited to be at the shearing of some ewes.

I'm also happy when I see the kindness of the shearer with the animals.

Do you recognize Molène ? (see my last friday photo
Here she's before the shearing.

Vous reconnaissez Molène ?
Ici c'est elle avant la tonte.

My friend had to calm her down during the shearing. It was her first shearing and she was frightened.

After shearing, she was sooo upset !!
Après, elle était plutôt contrariée !!!

Their friend, the goat, needed to control what had happened and the result of this mess !

I'm also happy when I take such a photo.

I'm also happy because when I've almost done my new knitting project.

And for now, I'm very happy because at the end of the week, I'm leaving for 10 days of holidays in the Perigord (again!) !

I'm sooooooo haaaapppyyyy !!!

I'll see you on 10 days !

So, Please Take Care !

xx

  5. So happy you came by and left a comment as I can follow you too now, lots of wonderful photos and you have sheep ? will have to read through your other posts, I'm a bit sheep mad at the moment if you take a look at some of my older posts. Photos of the lily are delightful and liking your wool spinner, so many things I'm interested in, will be back for a look.
