My mini-hexagons rippled blanket

At the beginning, many many mini hexagons crocheted following the Jacquie's pattern  (Bunny Mummy) and using up all of my small blue skeins of DMC (100 % wool for tapestry) (remember those 650 DMC skeins I bought in a little shop 3 years ago and for 40 euro). I did them 2 years ago.

I can't believe I was able to leave this project pending. It's not me !
I hate starting something and not finishing it. I don't use to do it and believe me this blanket is the only project in this case. So now, it's time to continue and finish it.
I'm grateful to Helen (Woollybluebells) for her mini hexagons blanket she started last month (here). When I read her post about it, this recalled me the mini hexagons I've crocheted and put away in a box.
So I've decided to get them out and to work on this project.

Look at those many mini hexagons I've crocheted :

I don't know how many they are but a lot !

They are crocheted with a 4 mm hook.
Ils sont crochetés en 4.

To crochet a blanket, I've needed more yarns. I use blue and cream yarns I've already had in various shades.

And this is what I'm currently crocheting :
Voici ce que je crochète :

For one year, I have a nice and confortable workspace for crocheting, knitting, painting, blogging, crafting. It's easier to work in such a studio because I can spread out my stuffs without having to tidy up each time I stop !!
I can stay there for many hours, with a hot cup of tea, listening music or listening the wind blowing outside.
It's a warm, cozy and quiet place.

The blanket is growing slowly because I have to sew 20 mini hexagons together to make the bands and before crocheting the ripples. And also because there's no pattern anywhere of this kind of blanket. I have to find myself and create the right way to well-match them.
The ripples are made in an unsual way. Indeed, there's only one increase (instead of 2) at the upper part and only one decrease in the hollow.
The stitch used is half-treble / half double crochet.
I think that it might be turn out alright ... we'll see !

A voir ...
